The 2012 Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festival will showcase some of India’s best Fashion Designers and Accessories Designers. The 5 day Lakme Fashion Festival 2012 starts on Friday 3 August, 2012 with a show by India’s emerging Next Generation of talent and ends on 7 August, 2012 in a Grand Finale by designers Kallol Datta, Pankaj and Nidhi Ahuja.

2] TALENT SHOW AT LAKME FASHION WEEK (LFW) 2012
Talent Shows are mini Fashion Shows in a smaller arena called “The Source” where Indian Designers and Fashion stores will highlight their latest trendy clothes and accessories. 3] NEXT GEN SHOW AT 2012 LAKME FASHION WEEK WINTER FESTIVAL
The organizers of LFW 2012 have selected 10 emerging Next Generation Indian Designers (5 Individual and 2 Design Teams) to showcase their exciting designs as part of the NEXT GEN Show. The NEXT GEN designers will be the first to display their designs at the 2012 Lakme Fashion Week at noon on 3 August, 2012. 4] LAUNCH OF WENDELL RODRICKS AUTOBIOGRAPHY – “THE GREEN ROOM”
Wendell Rodricks much anticipated autobiography, “The Green Room”, will be launched at 2:30 pm on Tuesday 7 August, 2012 at the Lakme Fashion Week.
5] OTHER EVENTS AT 2012 LAKME FASHION WEEK (LFW) WINTER FESTIVAL
There will be after show parties at the 2012 Lakme Fashion Week, Fashion Workshops, Installation Art, Panel Discussions, etc at the event. All 5 days of the Fashion Festival will be shown on LFW TV.
6] 2012 LAKME FASHION WEEK GRANDE FINALE
The Grande Finale of the Lakme Fashion Week 2012 on 7 August, will showcase avant-garde designs by 27 year old Kolkatta based designer Kallol Datta and fresh contemporary designs by multi-award winning husband-wife duo of Pankaj and Nidhi Ahuja.
Location of the 2012 Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festival
Grand Hyatt Hotel at Santacruz, Mumbai, is the venue of the 2012 Lakme Fashion Week. The hotel is just off the Western Express Highway at Santacruz. There is a Security checkpoint at the road that leads up to the hotel. Security guards will check cars before they are allowed to proceed to the venue.

The 2012 Winter Lakme Fashion Week starts on Friday 3rd August, 2012 at 12:00 noon with a Fashion Show by the NEXT GEN designers. The Fashion week ends on Tuesday 7th August with the Grand Finale Show.
